Centennial Awarded New Nationwide Contract for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

Centennial has been awarded a five year to provide renovation and alternation services for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for facilities in multiple states across the United States.  This will be another opportunity for the company to work with this client, having held previous regional multi-year contracts.  Centennial is excited to continue to serve this important client.

Centennial Receives Excellence in Construction Award from the VA Associated Builders and Contractors

The Aviation Academy is one of the magnate programs for Newport News Public Schools and attracts approximately 250 students and instructors. The program teaches piloting, aircraft maintenance, engineering, and aviation security/safety to ninth graders, and involves access to everything aviation related including drones, 3D printers, a virtual reality lab, and a wind tunnel. As a long-term partner to Newport News Public Schools, Centennial was asked in March 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic, to take on this important build out as a fast-track design build project.

The merit-based safety recognition award is presented by the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Centennial Receives Build Washington Award for Construction Excellence

Centennial was tasked with a 17,130 square foot interior renovation of the historic King Street Station in Seattle, Washington. The station operates in a 110-year-old original building within the congested Pioneer Square area of downtown. Our performance encompassed, including the 7,500-square-foot cultural space, ARTS at King Street Station, available to the public. The remainder of the space, built in conjunction with the gallery space, was to provide support space for tenant artists and offices for the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture staff. This project is relevant because it demonstrates our ability to work within occupied spaces, specifically fully operational Amtrak stations with minimal disruption. Additionally, it highlights our knowledge of ADA requirements, our ability to work within strict timeframes, and our value engineering abilities.
