Design-build combines the architectural design process with the construction process to create a single team. One of the major advantages of working with Centennial on a design-build project is that it allows us to act as the client’s advocate on all aspects of the construction process. This not only allows large projects to get accomplished faster, but also establishes responsibility and complete accountability on costs, timeliness, and goals.

Combining the function of an architect, engineer and construction manager into a single entity, Centennial’s design-build services provide an integrated approach that is focused on and customized to the specific needs of the project. Our design-build services eliminate the client’s responsibility for coordinating activities between the designer and the builder. Because a single contract covers architecture, engineering and construction, Centennial’s experts provide team leadership and a single point of responsibility.

"Excellent contractor!"

A Design-Build Success Story - MCX at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA

This design-build project involved all the design and construction to provide extensive renovations to the MCX at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA. The 39,045 sq. ft. facility remained in operation throughout construction with work being phased to minimize disruption. The scope of work included interior finishes, flooring, painting, lighting, framing, drywall repair, and complete restroom renovations. The exterior work included painting and cosmetic repairs/upgrades to the fuel canopies. To maintain operations to the fuel station area, we developed a construction schedule that worked around the high traffic times for patron fueling, including early mornings, weekends or evening.
