Our first contract was an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for renovation services for the Department of Defense at the Pentagon. Our performance and the relationships built on this contract cemented the company’s decision to focus on delivery of the best project outcomes for our clients, meeting our safety requirements, schedules, and quality expectations.
Our goal has always been to focus on the long-term relationship and to build a program with our clients, rather than just completing one project and moving on. As a result, we have been working with the same clients for over 20 years and have re-procured many long-term contracts multiple times. This is a testament to the important relationships and the trust we have built with our clients.
In 2005, Centennial was acquired by Bilfinger SE, Europe’s largest industrial services provider. Although still managed as an independent business, Bilfinger provides Centennial with access to the resources and the expertise of a large, multi-national organization.
Over the past 30 years, Centennial has worked with owners, architects, and engineers to construct or renovate more than 500 million square feet of educational facility space; office space; sports facilities; monuments; historical sites and housing units; military, dining, and training facilities; hospitals; and industrial space; including large-scale construction, construction management and design-build projects. Centennial has offices in over 30 locations nationwide.
