Centennial Lands Contract at Houston Airport System

Long-time Houston contractor will complete facility repairs and renovations at city’s three major airports

HOUSTON, TX—February 14, 2011— Centennial Contractors Enterprises has been awarded a new multi-year Job Order Contract (JOC) with the City of Houston and the Houston Airport System. It is now recognized as a preferred provider for the airports’ Operations & Maintenance JOC projects.

Centennial will provide a full range of construction services for facilities repair, renovations, minor and security construction for Houston’s three major airports – George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and Ellington Field Airport (EFD).

Centennial is a national leader in Job Order Contracting, which is a long-term, performance-based construction contract, designed for transparent estimates, quick response and limited change orders. This method helps facilities of all kinds reduce their construction backlog efficiently and cost-effectively.

“We’re pleased to be on board with the City of Houston and the Houston Airport System,” said Project General Manager Walter Won. “We look forward to providing quality on-time construction services over the next five years and becoming a valued partner for the City of Houston and the Houston Airport System.”

Centennial has been a Houston contractor since 1993, and currently serves Harris County, NASA Johnson Space Center and the Harris County Department of Education under Job Order Contracts and IDIQ contracts.

Nationally, Centennial serves several airports, including DFW Airport, where it recently helped prepare the facility for Super Bowl traffic. For more information about Centennial’s work at airports, visit www.cce-inc.com/airports.
