Centennial Contractors Holding Open House to Hire Local Subcontractors
Subcontractors can apply for work at open house.
ATLANTA, GA—March 22, 2010— Centennial Contractors Enterprises will host a Subcontractor Opportunity Fair Open House in Atlanta on Wednesday, March 31st, from 9am-3pm at the Marriott on 475 Technology Parkway, in Norcross, GA.
The purpose of the Fair is to make small businesses aware of contract opportunities with Centennial and to provide them with the tools to meet contractual requirements and perform work successfully. Subcontractors in all construction trades are needed and encouraged to participate.
Centennial Contractors Enterprises is a Job Order Contractor (JOC) which provides renovation, rehabilitation and repair services for publicly funded institutions. Fair attendees can meet with Centennial to learn more about local contracting opportunities at either the morning session, 9am -11:30am or afternoon sessions, 12:30pm-3pm. Lunch will be provided.
In addition to Centennial representatives, an insurance spokesperson will be available to discuss subcontractor insurance and bonding requirements.
“JOC programs offer great opportunity for small subcontractors because they gain access to larger projects. It can really be a stepping stone to working with the federal government and other publicly-funded institutions like universities,” explained Mike O’Neill, regional vice president for Centennial. “We hope to see a large turnout on the 31st.”
